Nyonya Baju Panjang (Long Dress)
The Nyonya's clothing, Baju Panjang (Long Dress), is a long sleeved, knee length, thin transparent blouse worn with an inner white undershirt and a batik sarong (wrap-around skirt) bottom. It is held together by kerongsangs (a set of 3 round silver-gilt or gold brooches studded with pearls and other precious stones). It was adapted from the native Malay's Baju Kurung.
