Sue Goh is a Penangite of Peranakan Melaka descent. She moved to the hills of Balik Pulau (BP) so that her 3 children will have an open space to run & not be cooped within walls entertained by screens. Mid 2017 she started her organic garden project. One long weekend she planted Butterfly Pea (BP) (locally known as bunga telang seeds with her kids to teach them about the natural garden. They made a compost bin, collected rain water & took advantage of sunny days. Sue enjoyed the fresh outdoors working & playing with her kids.

Quoting this home-based entrepreneur, “Waiting for the flowers to grow was exciting, like waiting for babies to be born. The blue blooms are a delight and mornings became harvest time with mummy.” In the afternoon her children learn to appreciate the heat as they took turns drying the harvest & relief when it rains so no further watering is required! They have sun- dried a quantity and enjoyed many homemade delights.
